They haven't admitted a tag system for Jumpgate Evolution yet have they? I'm operating under the impression that there are going to be artificial safe zones and no tags, and they aren't telling us that because they expect most of us won't like it

An artificial safe zone because there are patrol ships (ai or not) is a good idea. It doesn't keep you from shooting someone (or a group of people trying to police someone) but will cause you a headache because other ships will immediately attack you so if you don't have lots of backup you have to change targets to defend yourself.
Kind of like a temp bounty in a station sector causing a drone to launch |

No, they haven't, at least not that I'm aware of. That's why I used quotes around it. I was just referring to whatever method they chose to use to manage consensual/non-consensual player interaction. "Tags" seems like a good term to use, whether it refers to players, sectors, regions, or whatever being "tagged" in some manner.
