Re: My suggestion to improve the MT system.
Just because someone is good at PvP and leading does not automatically make them a hardcore PvPer. If that is solely what they do then it does.
I tend to do both quite efficiently and I would not consider myself to be a "hardcore" PvPer. A crap pilot can be a hardcore PvPer in Jumpgate if that is their sole profession. In CS:S I would consider myself to be a "hardcore" PvPer though. *slopes off to bed* |

Re: My suggestion to improve the MT system.
i'm a carebear in CS:S. I try to get the Terrorists to negotiate their demands and come to a peaceful resolution. It never works though... they just keep killing me and my team.
Damn terrorists!! WHY DO THEY HATE FREEDOM SO MUCH?! |

Re: My suggestion to improve the MT system.
LOL Tritian.
In CS1.6 Im always a CT and I usually prefer to assault and sometimes get a sniping tool. For the most part Im assault with the 'clarion' or the m4 (game names, I dont have the real names I guess).' In CTF style Im always best as a defender, and usually in UT... nobody goes out with my flag, they never survive. I avoid sniping unless the enemy is doing it too much. Also, seph was looking for some intellectuals... I guess some of the replies qualify for that ![]() Hardcore PvPer.. humm.... Id say, on SR, either blakOmega or Tazor would fit the bill well, though I fear they've done their share of mining, arti hunting and even hauling what can I say, Im contagious.ELP |

Re: My suggestion to improve the MT system.
There are a few things I really like (I dont do love) about the MT system.
The biggest being enemy ships not being able to dock at hostile stations. Id have gone further and banned POS docking (private invite) in enemy space also (too open to exploitation). Another thing I really like is the forced factionalism. Now we all know who the enemy is and we dont have to think about whether to attack or not, or worry if that other pilot is going to attack you either (apart from the odd idiot here and there). Personally I wish the MT tag was permanent rather than dumpable. I find it rather irritating when the enemy pilot that was flipping my factions beacons yesterday is now flying around my faction in CIV tags. Once a target always a target. I just wish it was introduced earlier when there was a bigger player base. After watching that freedom speech clip, I have come to the conclusion that Algore = William Wallace. Thats the same speech he gives us almost every night. More so when we are outnumbered. |

I agree, that is annoying, if your flying behind enemy lines you shouldn't have a safe haven. Un claimed un reg space fine but not reg space. |
