They'll have pvp flags, like WoW, with timers, like WoW...so jump into the safe zone all you want, the people chasing you will still have 5 minutes to kill you.

They'll still be consensual PvP, I'm sure, you just won't be able to harass people in their own territory unless they flag themselves. You can still be the badguy though, as you'll probably be able to fly into QC and shoot NPCs, and any player that shoots you flags themselves for combat.

You guys act like consensual PvP = no PvP. Most PvP is consensual, in Jumpgate you could say that launching into space was your consent and if you didn't want to consent you could spend your money elsewhere....this time ND wants people to spend their money and still be able to decide to consent or not.

IMO, there are only 3 reasons for nonconsensual PvP:
1. To play pretend, a.k.a. Role playing.
2. To cause consensual PvP. i.e. Go blow up Oct civs so the Oct PvPers will come fight you/chase you...
3. To be an asshat.

Aside from #3, all are still possible with safe zones and PvP flags.

I just hope the original promise of separate servers comes to fruition (though recent hints may suggest otherwise). The idiots can then go play Jumpcraft to their hearts' content.
