If the repair and rearm ship has a short area of use then it could in theory do more than one ship at a time ,like one on the side and one behind, or other side, because they would have to be close to get full use of the servace, so all the R's could be done from in close, like 500 meters, but from far away somethings couldnt bee. Maybe a shield boost only if the ship was in danger of being destroyed before repairs could be made, but for no other reason. No "win" button, these guys are only in the game to do the R's so nothing else would be alowed.

Good Idea Bingo.
Perhaps the AI system will make NPC pirates attack and damage cargo ships making this a needed mission to help protect the economy. Anything that adds combat is a good thing to me ![]() |

Depending on how its done, it could be a group mission too..like a important cargo is on a damaged ship and a repair ship with escorts has to brave the enemy attack to repair it and get it home. Something for everyone, support ship, emergency repair calls for frieghters and combat for escorts protecting the repair and damaged ship..maybe even have a certain amount of damage till your engines die, then an emergency call goes out while you wait for help.
