Roid Ammounts
Well, basically about the ammount of roids seen in faction space. To me it seemed as if Octavious got the boot on both roids and mining able ships. Not only we have the slower extraction rates on our ships, but we also have a scary low ammount of roids available for mining.
Solution, well, not so sure, but one thing I would like to see is.. if we're getting the shaft again on mining gear/ships... then at least concede us some roid varietys and lots of commons nearby to the main station. If this is going to be much like what Im seing around, that we will put a stronghold on commodities and such, then each faction must have a way to provide for their own materials, even if its via mining or scooping. If Octavians get bad mining gear/ships, at least we should have roids nearby, lots of them. If you add to the mix how many real miners we have... ELP |

Re: Roid Ammounts
Yeah ELP, the octs did get shafted in that department. However, when the game was originally designed the factions were specifically made interdependent. It was only in the last couple of years (under Istvan's notions) that moves were made to make the factions more independent. Personally, I think fighting over resources is a much more interesting way to go than making the factions dependent on each other. Let's hope they make the factions relatively independent in Jumpgate Evolution

Re: Roid Ammounts
Well, what I meant is...
If octs in Jumpgate Evolution get the same ammount of roids like in Jumpgate Classic... we will be even more dependent on the outside faction space roids. Basically what Im suggesting is that if we're getting the shaft again, at least allows us to have roids nearby, not one roid here and another out there and such. As if finding octavian miners was easy... ELP |
