I totally agree I love to see weapons that do diferent type of damage and shields that absorb different type of damage.
Id also like to see a "power manager" you know directing power to engines, shields and guns just like in WC.
Last but not least Id like to see systems damage. Heck even random systems damage would be better then what we have atm because tbh the damage model of Jumpgate is quite booring.
Systems damage would also create more demand on equipment on the economy because even PvEers who dont die alot would use up equipment. Fluxing might not kill you but it might damage your guns, shields, radars what ever.
