Guys, the idea is to let loose ideas, the more detailed we can get them... nice, but Netdevil has the final say, so they will look at this and see if its possible or not and they will act upon it. I like the idea, with some small changes.

Im fine with the idea in stations, but if it were to be implemented in space, i wouldnt want to see too many of them. Too much clutter would be bad IMO.

i was thinking at the most 1 sign per sector. so there would be no clutter.

At first I thought "what a stupid idea!" and was more than willing to let someone else just blow it off. Then I got to thinking about just how much I hate the KTRI messages of all sorts. Not just "X" 'most needs" "Y", but the other commerical crap they allowed into the game. IF it was a trade off to those damn KTRI messages though I would be an ardent supporter! And if, as Tritian suggests, it was limited to no more than one sign per sector I would love it.

Put up the "most needs" in station-only advertisements; put the player-paid announcements and advertisement on the banners. This would leave our piddling few lines of chat free for chat and not commercials or other space wasters. I am fine with the "pilot xyz got his Unity Stripe I" or "pilot abc destroyed a hive in sector DEF". Or "pilot X killed pilot Y". I can even stomach the "defcon" messages. I can certainly see the advantage of the bountied pilot messages , and swarm location messages remaining on KTRI all-broadcast, but if Tritians banner ads get the "okay" then for gods' sake put all the commercial crap and "in most need" messages onto the banners or in station and leave our chat windows for chat and important information broadcasts.
