yea exactly....maybe you can actually use that zoom camera for a good scouting tool. Your radar might be lying, but your eyes dont.

I don't think they use that in the New BSG, its "So Say We All" now.

I was referring to the episode where the fleet was stranded on New Caprica and the Commander had an attack fleet composing of ECM Ships and some support fighters jump into the middle of hostile territory and launch a couple of drones that made it look like the Two Battlestars had jumped in, so that destracted the Cylons while the Real Battlestar jumped in and started the rescue mission.

In Jumpgate I would see it more along the lines of an ECM ship comes in and confuses the enemy by throwing up a a bunch of Radar contacts, so the defense fleet moves to intercept while another ECM ship hides the real fleet coming in from the other side, then all hell breaks loose.

Or A fleet of Pirates is waiting for someone, they have a support ship there to help mask them, maybe make them show up as shuttles instead of fighers, so when the victim comes in they don't just sit and gate camp cause everything looks ok, and once the pirates are ready they drop their cover and attack.

Etc etc etc.
