Station Linkage

Well, this is kinda like what the MIR or the International Space Station work. Basically you add mods to it (I know MIR died long time ago...) and the station works. After seing the huge concept art for Quantar Core it made me think that it would be nice/awesome if those new buildings that we've seen in core stations instead of being separate they are extensions of the main core station.

Reason is quite logical, as Jump said to me while were talking about it, its easier and cheaper to walk from A to B (or drive a cart) than having to launch a ship to move to a Nav Yard of sorts, thinking like the maintenance workers and scientists and such (not pilots).

This way, Core Station would be always growing and getting bigger. Measures of course would be taken to make sure docking or launching areas never get blocked or have station structures obstructing the way out (more if you're heavy) like in the actual Hyp... with that stupid POS 10k out of the launch tube lol.

Also, Core Station would have more places in which to hide from the view and would be a nice atmosphere.

CPs could be illuminated while in-use, and this would serve as an indication for another hauler/producer that wanted to use it, to aproach in a different manner to avoid bumps and collisions. Guess this also brings the question, if we're going to have lots of players, if CPs and other buildings will have multiple entry points, having 20 folks waiting in line to use a CP..... Id hire Tritian to scare the 19 in front of me lol.

wow i must give you props on that one elp. you should really submit that idea to scorch. im sure he would like it and i would think it is very dooable right now in the early stages.

I realy hope there are no cps in evo,,

They represent the failure of mining,, either game mechanics, or player involvement.

When we have no cps. well know the mining part of the game is working properly.

How i failed to see you ment cps,, was atacked by my nano..

In general, the way those buildings work.. need revisions. But Id say they already know.

I for one hated all the extra buildings in the sectors. An expanding core station thats actually BIG and cool to fly around would be neat.
