This makes me think of 2 things. First, I think it'd be awesome as all get out if there was a place in space that used to be aman gate, and I could find a derelict 8 point station there, and if you look in just the right spot you see an old rusty sign that says "Grizwald's Gallows" Other small bones they could throw in our direction that would mean jack squat to all the new people but would give us a warm glow on the inside to say "thanks for all those years of your life you spent staring at your computer screen looking at the game we made."

The other thing I think of is how me and some people I knew became obsessed with exploration badges in City of Heroes. I mean, they dedicated websites to the location of these things. If you went to a certain part of the map, you got a special little badge, and if you got all the right little badges, you got a bigger badge. Something like that would be cool... They are awfully static though. Hmm, that gives me an idea....

I was thinking more along the lines of certain vectors at certain speeds (Variable according to mass). So once you figured ou the correct flight path you could probably do it every time.
