User Uploadable Pics

Well, Id think this is related to how much bandwith users have. Over dial-up... having 40 player pics showing on chat and having to download them while playing.... you better be in station or be stationary because its going to affect your connection.

Slow DSL and dial-up connections like mine would benefit of having such images on your hard drive cause the loading is then unnoticeable (depends on computer too). For users with big pipes.... web based content is not a problem.

And if ND still has to aprove them pics that would mean that they would be available from them. It could be made available via a download image pack that anyone can do manually or automatically. Furthermore... if the manual setting is chosen, then perhaps the chat system would simply ignore the pics of those users who you dont have their images.
