What NOT to Change?

We have all been talking about suggetions to make Jumpgate Evolution better and more yummy...but what should be 'off the table' in your opinion? My list isnt very long:

1. Newtonian Physics Space-Sim Engine with modeled parasitic drag. Pure Gold...and the heart of Jumpgate.

2. Roid Masking! One of the best features in Jumpgate was the ability to set ambushes this way.

3. 3 Factions...always at odds and self balancing.

1. The Economic System. At the most, the economic system should be made even more diverse.

2. Artifacts. Again, if they should ever change it, they should add more artifacts to the game.

More playable factions would be interesting, such as the Hyperials and that rumored 'Playable Neutral Faction' that I once read about.

i would change roid masking so there was some indicator that confirmed that i was cloaked... Very helpful If you are a solo pirate/scout..

Agree on Speed Docking, Roid Masking, Physics...

Disagree on Factions... Infact I would like to see Hyperial in game as a small faction with just one or two of their own ships but importing ships from other factions... for neutral, pirate and other scum pilots...

Somewhat agree on arties... arties shouldnt go away but they need changing...

I would like to add...

1. PvP possible in all sectors of the map, no chip, no magic disabling of weapons in sector, no bs like that
2. Scraping missiles of roids, gates, stations, ect,
3. Emma, she has to be around.

You know we used to call Emma "CM's Roid" because CobraMac hit it so damn much during patrols...later Emma came out, who ever thought of that name anyhow?

I guess my #3 is flexible...

I would have to add "NO PVP SWITCH" as Tex mentioned...thats a real deal breaker (and one of the reasons I play eve now...)

The price.

Unity stripe spacings.

Beacons (gen appearance - as in the skeletal loops).

How mortars feel (But DO give them some longevity in the field this time - 120 rounds? Never again).

I disagree about only three factions. I would absolutely love to see a playable Hyperial faction as well as a neutral (or non-TRI) based faction.

I guess technically they are factions and not separate races. What about being able to fly other faction ships? I always thought that because we couldnt fly other faction ships we shouldnt be allowed to fly/squad with other pilots from different factions...but lots disagreed.
