Is it just me ...I dont want Jumpgate Evolution ...I want Jumpgate Classic fixed...take all the time money and resorces you are wasting on Jumpgate Evolution and use them to repair Jumpgate Classic.

Is it just me ...I dont want Jumpgate Evolution ...I want Jumpgate Classic fixed...take all the time money and resorces you are wasting on Jumpgate Evolution and use them to repair Jumpgate Classic.
At best Jumpgate Evolution will just be Jumpgate Classic with better graphics and at worst it'll be EVE with a joystick... either way its a complete waste of money and time.  I know Everyone will disagree and im used to being unpopular ....But I'm not often wrong. |

Sorry...I have to disagree. Jumpgate Classic will never appeal to me in its current form, or even "fixed". I have moved on from that shallow gameplay. My hope is Jumpgate Evolution will be everything plus the kitchen sink...hey, a guy can hope.

I dont care anymore.. I just hope they make a game I can enjoy. Trying to hold on to Jumpgate Classic seems hopeless.. And there are to many games out there I can enjoy rahter then spending time crying for an old game.

ahhh EVE's econ and corp system - the skill system and instancing missions + Jumpgate flight engine would be just perfect I would think.

Ha,ha,ha we all wish good things from Jumpgate Evolution, but all we can do is wait. Some have seen a brief glimpse and loved it, so we'll see if miners and freighters and pvper's can all enjoy it when it finally makes it out. My biggest worry is they overhype it and even a good game will look like a lot less, just my opiniun of course,(as usual)..lol

Here is the thing: As much as many of us liked Jumpgate Classic, it wasn't enough to make it a viable game. We had a nice small community that peaked about 2 or 3 months after release, and now it's gone. Jumpgate Classic isn't coming back

I don't think that's in question at all. The issue is it would have been far preferrable to have Jumpgate II instead of Jumpgate Evolution.

I wonder how long it will take people to understand that it is a new game that will be using some ideas from Jumpgate Classic, some ideas from other games, and some new ideas. Some will like it, some will not.
To think of it as a place where "vets" can meet up and slap each other on the back and talk about previous "victories" really isn't healthy. Infact it's quite sad really. Al |
