We get it. The news stories can be completely contradictory, make no sense, and have nothing to do with basic economics, as long as we dumb carebear pilots get the point that we're playing the game wrong, Antiflux are bad, and instead of doing things that we prefer Antiflux for, we should all be PvPing, and especially PvPing over Antiflux, or we'll just say you are in our news stories - you squabblers.

Amananth's AI is mysteriously brain damaged to further stick it home that we aren't getting them back either, so there. We get it, ok? Don't need a bunch more stories to get the idea, thanks. This entire series of stories has made zero sense to anyone - except to express the above opinion to us. Is there another point to this? Because none of us in-game can figure one out.

I love my Antiflux, ìn a miner, in a tow & in my freighter. What have we done back in the days without this perfect peace of Amananth-technology? ... Killed flux 360° nearing the next gate, had pilots with us as flux-escort, or flux-hunters were patrolling the sectors ... ok ok back in the days.

RazorsKiss, I have to say I havn`t been online much in the last month/yeas, but I played regularly since TRI 101, not so much since 115, whatever, Antiflux was a team-game-killer, but still, especially now, with 0 - max 10? pilots online ... get the point.

I don't know, if I really got your point, but honestly, if there is something going on, and UUNN is reporting about it, I feal like logging in the next oppurtinty I get (seldomly these days).

As long as JG is running, I know there is a place to come to, not with (all) the people who used to be there, but a universe I used to fly in for about 16 years.

That's why we're all sort of confused as to why the Antiflux CP is "broken", and not coming back. If we had enough pilots online to do escorts, or... well... just about anything else, I would see the point of making it go away. As it stands, and with practically everyone playing A) Killing Flux or B) Doing stuff that practically everyone would prefer to do with an Antiflux if they're solo - and almost always are - what is the point? It's mystifying, and makes no sense at all.

I'm glad UUNN is reporting, too - but what about this series of stories makes sense? I mean, who, exactly, would anyone be hoarding AF... from? There's enough on the server right now to replace every active player's AF 3x over. Most of the people who ran cargo back when did it without an Antiflux. Even a tow is hard-pressed to get mauled too badly on the regular trade routes. With a freighter, it's mostly just to keep from dumping flux, or seeing the bzzt bzzt on your shields, more than anything. They're a convenience for pilots who are mostly solo, anyway. The only times I ever had an escort for my tow back when was when I was carrying expensive stuff I didn't want pirates to get. That's it. You might get 1-2 sectors with flux that could, possibly, shoot you down - and you have hordes of FFs for that. But why make such a big deal, story-wise, over a convenience?

... and, what I forgot, there were people behind the scene, to tell a storyline to keep it interesting, even after the last collapse.
If players don't realize this, or won't be part of it, ok.
Even bad news are good news, as long as people recognise em, and eventually come back, cause JG will die, when noone logs in anymore!
The JG-universe will end in a last and ultimate collapse, if only flux-swarms are around. Best of JG were and are the players, without them there is nothing left to report to/over.
Still there is hope, eventually we can get vets back or ty new people into it, looking forward to log in again as soon as my Öle XP-machine works again.
