Currently in Alpha with open invitations. This is a 4x MMO coming out of Iceland. What is it with Iceland and space games?
It's getting to be a saturated marked now for space games. Any fun?
Well since I have pretty much played nothing but Jumpgate for 15 years the saturation is not an issue. It's OK. It's a strategy game ... hexes ... cards with special "skills" ... point and click missions.
It's nice because the nature of the game is you play it for 5 or 10 minutes and then go away for an hour or several hours -- so it's easy to fit into the schedule. It's somewhat like Eve (It's even being done in Iceland) done as a 4X though you don't train skills, you build your buildings in a kind of tech tree.
Invulnerability has worn off for most now, so it will be interesting to see how the PvP goes.
Can't hold a candle to Jumpgate ... but then nothing else has either.
